Online Antivirus

This is to give you a second detection if you suspect you have bugs in your system. I do use it to get second opinion since one antivirus SW cannot detect 100% of the viruses, malware, riskwares and the likes.

One thing though, the link works on internet explorer since it runs activeX scripts. You will need IE tab add-on if you are using Firefox. I do not know how it behaves in linux or mac OSes. Some link may not work depending on your ISP but you got the idea.
